Dancing was first presented to us, in the form of a video game, by the Japanese video game developer Konami as Dance Dance Revolution back in 2001. Even though it was nothing really nothing like any type of dancing you might see out at a party, it still got players up on their feet. Next, came the newer version of Dance Dance Revolution which now included hand motions using the wii remote and nunchuck accessory. This was one step up! Finally, the perfect dancing game for your wii console has arrived. Just Dance!

This forty dollar game is perfect for anyone. It comes with thirty songs that you can dance to. Game play is simple. All you have to do is hold the wii remote in your hand (no nunchuck necessary) and follow the dance moves of the person on the screen. Dance moves that are coming up next are demonstrated at the bottom of the screen so you’re prepared. You are scored throughout the game with a “GREAT”, “OK”, or “X”. Scores are totaled and the winner is determined at the end of the song. You can play with up to four players. Anybody can play. It is very universal. It is fun and easy for people of any age. Also you get a great workout.

This game has great songs like “U Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer, “Hot N Cold” by Katy Perry, and “Who Let the Dogs Out” by Baha Men. Just to name a few. It features music from almost every genre, by the original recording artist.

The graphics are very basic. The menu is pink and black with a simple layout. When playing the game the background is very simple with little animation. Because of this, it is easy to stay concentrated on the dance moves. The look of the dancer is unique to every song and their dance styles are also unique. This keeps the game exciting. The sound is great! The game includes mainly songs by the original recording artist. The music is played during the game with no interruptions by other sound effects.

Overall, Just Dance is the perfect game for anyone! Because of its easy controls it is perfect for parties. It can also be enjoyed just hanging out at home with some friends.
